The Centovalli railway is a meter-gauge that operates between Domodossola, Italy and Locarno, Switzerland. It is operated by FART (Ferrovie Autolinee Regionali Ticinesi) in Switzerland and SSIF in Italy. The route was opened in 1923, the name Centovalli (100 valleys) is derived from the existence of many picturesque valleys and small villages.
