Arthur Honegger was a Swiss composer born in France to Swiss parents and was one of the six members of Les Six, a group of French composers who worked in Montparnasse. The lesser known fact is that his first name being ‘Oscar’. For people who lived in Switzerland prior 2017 would recall his face being on the Swiss twenty-franc banknote (1996-2017) before it was replaced by a new design.
